I'm going to be a freshman at ERC and i'm in the process of enrolling in classes and I can't decide whether or not I should sleep in or just get my classes over with early in the day. Just my luck, most of the in-between 10am to 11am classes are full so it's either 8am classes or 2pm - 5pm classes.

So...should I take morning or afternoon?

It’s your personal preference.

Don’t be the person who signs up for early morning classes even though you’re used to waking up later… you will HIGHLY regret this as you will end up missing them and getting a bad grade. Habits don’t change that much in college. Right now, analyze yourself - are you good at waking up early? it will only become harder in college with activities, late night studying, parties etc etc. But if you think you can discipline yourself to wake up that early then good for you!!

I could never do it haha. I planned my classes from around 10/11-3/4 each day and it worked out wonderfully. Don’t forget you can always waitlist.

I would say the best time that worked for me was 9am. 8 was just too early, and many days I ended up not going to those classes. If it’s later on in the day, I think you’d be less likely to skip. I personally preferred my classes to be clumped together, so that I had time for other things, such as working, volunteering, or just participating in other things.
