Morning of - Test day preparation

Will be leaving for the test in 45 minutes, survived the evening before. I basically allowed D to direct what she wanted to do. She actually began with an unplanned after school nap. (Could practically see me twitching at this point.) Got up at 5 PM and began going through things. She began by thinking through essay examples - which should have been done weeks ago. Dinner - healthy w/ fish you guys - at 5:45. Discussed those examples w/ father, a big history buff. I know that she did writing, math problems, and skimmed through her study guides. 9:00 we banished her from any studying and watched two episodes of the office. Shower at 10:00 and lights out at 10:30. She is just getting up now, 6:30. Claims to have woken up repeatedly from math problems. Hopefully the rest was good enough. We are continuing w/ the breakfast steak, lean protein, that she has done the last 2 practice tests. She is going to read a magazine she enjoys while eating. (She nixed the banana on me unless I force it.) She has m&m’s and unsalted roasted almonds for her pocket, An apple, “performance bar” and water for snacks. Sending two good erasers and a whole box of sharpened pencils. Extra batteries (changed them last night so should be OK) and calculator. She is being dressed in layers as advised. You never can know what the temp may be like. That is about it.

Thank you to all that gave constructive advice. Hopefully it will pay off and the day will go well.

I’ll update if I note anything after the test is over.
