Morning routines..?

(2:00 or whenever I finish hw) - Check out tomorrow's weather

10 mins later - Dead asleep

6:00 - Wake up

6:30- dress up, eat (sometimes)
7:00- leave
7:30- i get to school (i live like 20 minutes but traffic)
7:56- school starts

Wow 20 minute commute! Mine is like 8 unless there's backup

Eat your breakfast done sounding like your dad

7:45-wake up
7:50- brush teeth/wash face/throw hair up in a gross messy bun or ponytail
7:55-put on uniform
7:56-eat breakfast
8:00-drive to school
8:10-get to school
8:15-school starts

i go to an all girls school so all that hair/makeup/clothes crap does not apply to me. it's pretty sweeeet!

haha, i'm sooo slow in the mornings because I'm not really awake until I actually get to school:
5:15- alarm goes off
5:20-6:00- shower (yeah, i take 40-minute long showers)
6:00-7:15 makeup/hair (it's an art! :))
7:17- get in car, drive to school
7:25- first period starts

I never eat breakfast because I could never get up any earlier than I already do...but I usually stop by Starbucks for a venti caramel macchiato and I'm good to go.

I used to have a problem waking up every morning (I slept through the alarm) so I bought this vibrating alarm clock that can shake me awake. I think it's called the "wake n shake" or something. Thank God I have this for college.

I usually wake up around 6:00 but stay in bed till 6:28
I walk to my bathroom flip on the lights ..put some water on my hair to get rid of the bedhead (i take a shower at night)
Put on some clothes...now its around 6:35
I go downstairs and eat a breakfast bar, go back upstairs to brush my teeth again to about 6:48
I check if everything is in my bag and put my car keys in my pocket 6:55
Go downstairs and watch news till 7:02
At 7:03-7:06 I start driving to school
7:10 I arrive at school

6:07 - Alarm. Have dream about whatever they're talking about on the radio.
6:30 - Wake up. Consider getting out of bed, but go back to sleep.
6:50 - Wake up again, oh crap, I'm going to be late, get out of bed, go to bathroom, put in contacts, wash face.
6:55 - Oh God, the bed looks so comfortable. Sit on bed and stare at wall.
7:00 - Grab the first set of clean clothes I can find, put them on.
7:10 - Go downstairs and put all my stuff in my bag.
7:15 - Grab a granola bar or apple or something else to eat during first period, and run out the door.
7:25 - I arrive at school and park in one of the last few rows in the back.
7:28 - I walk into school and see the clock, speed-walk all the way to the farthest corner of the school to my class.
7:30 - I finally arrive in class about 10 seconds before the bell rings. Success!

I'm a swimmer so I get up at 5 during the swim season three days a week...we can't be late so I usually don't have a hard time getting out of bed at that time. My regular routine though is the following:

6:19 Jump out of bed and turn off alarm before it goes off (I absolutely HATE the sound of an alarm, when there are commericals with alarms I get the chills)

6:20-6:30 brush teeth, shave, etc

6:30-6:45 shower and change

6:50 get books ready and get jacket on

6:55 out of the house and off to school

My tips for getting up are to run to the bathroom right after rolling out of bed. Never get back into bed after getting out of it. Start brushing teeth but if you're really tired, shower first. Also, don't dress to warmly when you go to bed or you'll feel to warm and won't want to get up.

That happens to me as well!

6:30 alarm
6:30-8:20 sleep
8:20-8:30 brush teeth put on clothes
8:30 leave
8:35 arrive to school

Haha I have the alarm dream too :D

And whoever said I was lucky to get up at 7, my classes start at 8:40. It literally takes me an hour to get to school since I have to take 3 trains. I'd rather wake up earlier and have no commute :P

6:25 Mom wakes me up
6:26 Shower
6:40 Brush
6:45 Contacts
6:50 Hair
6:55 Eat/Watch News/Review work/Pack
7:20-7:30 Bus arrives
7:46 First Period

0600 First alarm
0610 Second alarm
0615 Third alarm
0616 Brush teeth/wash face/contacts/etc.
0625 Make coffee
0630 Get dressed, fix hair, do makeup, etc
0710 Listen to NPR's news podcast
0720 Finish up homework, read, whatever
0745 Leave for school

That's if I have to be there at 8 for EC's or to tutor people or whatever...it starts at 9, so if there's a faculty meeting or a rare occasion when I don't have to be there early, push everything forward 30 minutes. I still like to be there around 8:30 though so I can get a parking spot...

Lol I love how all of the guys take like five minutes to get dressed.

I'm a girl, but I was never too big on the clothes/hair/makeup thing so my mornings are pretty quick.

7:04 Alarm Sounds
7:15 Still in bed
7:20 Get out of bed
7:20-7:28 Dress, wash face, brush teeth (I take showers after track practice or at night)
7:28-7:35 Eat, put hair in ponytail
7:35 Mom drives me to school. I live really close.
7:39 Arrive at school. RUN to class, that starts at 7:41.

I put all of my stuff together (backpack, track bag) the night before. Helps sooo much. Not doing hair/makeup and taking a long time to pick out clothes saves me so much time.

Alarm goes off at either 6:30 or 6:50 depending on what else it had to be changed for throughout the week.
Turn alarm off and normally climb back in bed for 10-15 minutes.
Grab breakfast and lay back down sometimes.
Sometimes I'll shower, other times just wash my face.
Grab my stuff (depending on time of year can be a lot) and head out the door.

Typically get to school around 7:30-7:35 for classes to start at 7:50. It helps that I live almost as close as the underclass parking lot, but park right behind the school. The students have assigned parking spots. I use my parent's staff parking pass:)

school for me starts at 8.

6:35-6:40: Wake up. Either by alarm, or my dad yelling at me
6:45: roll out of bed
6:50: Eat breakfast (I take my time)
7:00: Shower, brush teeth, put in contacts (I take my time with that too)
7:20: Find clothes, get ready, makeup, crap like that. Lately I've been having problems with my contact lenses and I have to take them out again...ugh
7:55: Leave house (hahaha. I'm lucky we live so close to the school)
I either get dropped off, or I have to walk. If I have to walk, I usually leave earlier :P
And somedays I have to run like there's no tomorrow.
Other days, I'm just like "screw it" and I get my parents to write me a note.

U.S. History is 1st period, and we do nothing in that class. So I usually don't worry about missing parts of it, seeing as how I have a very high A

i get up about two hours later than all of you....

830 - wake up
835 - take shower
855-920 - dry hair, eat, and watch i love lucy or leave it to beaver (haha, i know)
920-945 - straighten hair, get dressed, brush teeth, makeup, etc
945- leave
1000 - school starts

the night before, i pick out my clothes and get all my stuff in my backpack, etc.

I have a question for all posters. How many of you take a bath or shower before going to school because I think it's really disgusting if I don't bathe in the morning. Therefore, I always take a shower no matter how late I get to bed. BTW My school starts at 7 so I get up on 5:45 most days (or going to various morning meetings for clubs etc.)

I shower in the morning.
