Morning routines..?

<p>this is a perfect thread. i am not a morning person either. my mother finds that so annoying.</p>

<p>but anyway, i read somewhere that taking a long time to get out of bed results in shorter lives. i don't know if that's true but somehow i remember it coming from a reliable source. so maybe you care about living longer?</p>

<p>not that it works for me anyway. =[</p>

<p>oh god...why is my school so crazy</p>

<p>4:40 alarm
5:10 wake up
5:10-5:30 shower
5:30-6:00 get dressed, daydream, waste time
6:00-6:20 breakfast/pack up stuff
6:20 leave for school
6:40 school starts</p>

<p>holy mackerel</p>

<p>why does your school start at 6:40??</p>

<p>Yeah that is really OD. I would be dead first period everyday if I started at 6:40.</p>

<p>As for showers in the morning, I find them annoying. My hair is all messed up and if I see that I have time to take a shower, i'll sleep instead.</p>

<p>No idea. Technically, though, it's "zero" period and only a minority of the school has a zero period.</p>

<p>Wow, 6:40 haha. Last year I had enough trouble getting to school by 7:30 for an optional first period. And to make things better, that class was World History. I slept so much in that class.</p>

<p>This year, I decided to not do optional first, so now I have to get to school by 8:30. I still have to wake up early (6:00), but at least I'm more awake during my first class.</p>

<p>Oh, and I usually take a shower in the morning because my hair looks like crap. I just got it cut really short though, so I'll probably be showering at night for awhile.</p>

<p>"You guys waking up at 6 are CRAZY"-NoFX</p>

<p>Well we have to...Your school starts at 8:30 ours start at 7:30...I would kill to have school start at 9 though :)</p>

<p>anyway....I usually make it out on time here's my routine...</p>

<p>5:45-wakeup, wash face, take shower
6:05-Pick out clothes/ get dressed (I always end up trying on like 10 outfits lol)
6:20-Do my makeup
6:30-Blow dry and straighten hair
7:00- Eat/ Get all my books and homework together
7:15-leave for school
The End.</p>

<p>I hate mornings... coffee is the way to go!</p>

<p>6:30 alarm goes off
6:45 dad comes in and yells, I drag myself out of bed
6:50 stand sleepily infront of mirror, brush teeth/fix hair/etc
7:00 figure out what to wear
7:10 mad dash to make lunch, find car keys, warm up car, eat a banana, make coffee, find all my homework - etc.
7:25 drive to school!
7:40 first class starts</p>

<p>yup. the same thing EVERY single day... I look foward to next year in college when I can get up at like 11 for a class ;)</p>

<p>6:30 Alarm rings. I go back to sleep.
7:15 I drag myself out of bed, rummage through my closet to find clothes.
7:20 Put on clothes, deoderant, etc. Brush hair, teeth, put my hair back in a pony-tail.
7:30 Leave for school.
7:40 Arrive at school, do the day's homework, talk to friends, work on various lit mag affairs.
8:28 First period starts.</p>

<p>I am the laziest person EVAR.</p>

<p>If school starts at 6:40... won't get guys get out at about 1? My school starts at 7:25 and we get out a 2:18.</p>

<p>6:30 Alarm
6:35 Dog barks
6:40 wake up
6:45 get dressed/contacts
6:55 finish eating
7:00 brush teeth/ find everything for school
7:05 leave for school (sleep on the way there)
7:25 school starts</p>

<p>three days a week I take a 7am jazz chorus, so those days are something like:
alarm goes off at 6. second alarm goes off at 6:10
i make it out of bed by 6:20ish
clothes (either try on a bunch of things or wear jeans and a sweatshirt)/makeup/pulling things together that i need, get downstairs by 6:35
i have to eat breakfast or i can't function-- eat, pack a lunch, and make tea and then out the door by 6:50 (ideally.....)</p>

<p>other days i wake up a little later and it involves more snooze alarms.</p>

<p>6-6.17: wake up to annoying cellphone alarm
6.30: get out of bed, take a shower
6.50-7.04: shove toast into my mouth
7.05-7.14: Drive sister to school
7.15-7.21: Drive myself to school
7.24-7.35: arrive at school. Park car. Struggle with backpack.
8 sharp: school starts</p>
