<p>Has anyone else gotten notification? Do you think its too late now to be eligible (notified) of the distinction scholarship?- meaning the rest of the emails waiting to be sent out will either be excellence or reject?</p>

<p>My d was notified today via e-mail that she received Prominence and her application advances to the next round to be considered for Distinction. So they’re still choosing Distinction candidates. She’s is beyond excited. </p>

<p>D received OoS Prominence acceptance e-mail yesterday. Stats: SAT 2050, ACT 30, 4.30 Weighted GPA, 4.0 unweighted, will have 11 APs when she graduates, IB Diploma candidate, AP Scholar with Distinction, Bi-racial. Essay focused on personal experiences with overt acts of prejudice against her and friends and diversity focused ECs. She is thrilled with this opportunity. OSU is definitely on the short list.</p>

<p>D got invitation to interview for distinction. Interviews will be Thurs and Friday, Feb 13 and 14th.</p>

<p>Still have yet to hear anything back. Does MSP notify if you don’t receive any scholarships? </p>

<p>@neroisis I believe they do notify either way but right now they are focused on sending out to the award recipients. It seem like most who have posted are OOS and receiving the Prominence award. So I am still hopeful for the excellence award. They will send emails thru end of March. Good Luck to all!</p>

<p>I’m trying to decipher the Merits my D has received… can Morrill Prominence be combined with National Buckeye and/or Provost merits? </p>

<p>@Boobash, I received an email stating that my application would be moving on to the Distinction round, but I have not received anything else about interviews??? I got my email on the 7th, and haven’t heard anything else. </p>

<p>Has anyone else been scheduled an interview for this week for the Distinction scholarship, or know any more information? Are they doing interviews in rounds or should I be concerned that I have yet to receive a call?</p>

<p>Aww, I just got an email back saying that my email stated that I was just being considered, if I was going to be interviewed I would receive an additional email about that. Hopefully there’s still a chance for me, fingers crossed!! Either way, I’m still extremely happy and honored for what I’ve received thus far!</p>

<p>Nothing yet from Ohio. Perhaps, they began with out of state offers first.</p>
