@Jay2631 Congratulations! Glad to see that you heard back.

In the email it said that you were going to be considered for the Distinction scholarship? I know it’s far fetched, but I hope they just tell out of state students that they are moving on for right now lol. #StillHoldingOnToHope!

“Furthermore, based on your academic excellence and advocacy for diversity, your application will be considered for the Morrill Scholars’ premier award, the Distinction Scholarship. This scholarship is the value of the full-cost of attendance. If you are recommended for an on campus interview, which will take place March 6-7, 2015, you will be notified by January 30, 2015. To accept the Prominence Scholarship, please submit your Ohio State acceptance fee to Undergraduate Admissions by Thursday, May 1, 2015.”

I have a question : Since I recieved the Prominence Scholarship, I am now part of ODI Scholars. Today I recieved an email stating that I have been accepted to the Scholars program. Can I be both a ODI Scholar as well as a different Scholar?

@Texas2Ohio The Prominence is part of Morrill and yes I have noticed and they also did that last year when I was reading older threads. I hope you recieve your notification soon. Good luck

Whoops I meant the scholarships that undergrad admissions give out (I just switched the names around). Because I qualify for nat’l buckeye, but not any other merit scholarships from undergrad admissions. So I’m curious if those are a prerequisite for Any morril scholarship.

Yeah, UT Austin is my #1 in state school! I would love to go to OSU but don’t thjnk it’s possible now that I’m convinced I won’t be getting this Morrill scholarship!

So everyone who has gotten it in this round, did you get your e-mails yesterday or today? My OSU e-mail wasn’t set up until 1 AM “today”, so I’m afraid that if I got it yesterday I won’t know if I got an e-mail.

UT Austin is also my #1, but I have yet to get accepted. OSU is still feasible, as long as they offer the National Buckeye and Trustees… but it sure would be nice to get the Morrill! Haha, GL man!
