Distinction also covers books/supplies and personal expenses. Basically the full cost of attendance each year. Which is fantastic because I will be getting OSU’s health care so that I can get braces my first year.

@Formation That is truly an amazing thing. I thought I won the lottery with the scholarship, but Distinction is the more like the Powerball What are the other special scholarships?
Got the call tonight for the Distinction Award and it still hasn’t sunk in. Over the moon. Go Buckeyes!

I should specify …the distinction scholarships. Had an interview. Heard that several students were contacted last night with awards. Just curious if there will be a second wave.

According to ODI more awards are to be announced throughout the remainder of this month into March. They also said you’d receive an email regardless of whether or not you received the award.
@itsgettingreal17, they have been releasing Honors and Scholars acceptances on a rolling basis, usually 2-3 weeks after the student has been accepted.

My child got a call last night at 7:15 PM he won the distinction scholarship
Congrats my child won as well
I just got the call that I received the Distinction Award two says ago.
My daughter just got the email that she was not selected for the Distinction Scholarship. Looks like they are finished notifying the winners for that award level. Congratulations to all the Distinction recipients.
