I’m thinking about applying to this, because I’m Bulgarian. However, I don’t really fit the other categories, such as socio/economic factors, or parents didn’t go to college. Any suggestions? Is this scholarship more for the other things, or is it for diversity?

Morrill is for diversity; however, you are not a minority, because you are white. Besides, I believe the award is domestic if by 'Bulgarian' you mean a resident of Bulgaria.

you don't have to be a racial minority in order to apply, check out the OSU MSP website for more info

You definitely don't have to be a minority to get the Morrill (I wasn't). It's partly based on academics, and you also have to make a good case for how your cultural background has affected you and how you would bring diversity to OSU. Your major and foreign language experience probably helps too.
