<p>I know you mentioned you prefer NE/mid-Atlantic, but the Thacher school in California has a a hallmark equestrian program (and offers Latin and study abroad, too). From their website, “…all freshmen learn the basics of horsemanship by caring for a horse: mucking his corral, feeding him morning and evening, and exercising him in the afternoon. <p>@Maddog. My D loves Tafts Latin program. Small classes, very challenging (read hard), but she enjoys it.</p>
