Most amazing thing ever

I called one school that I've applied to today for something, and the admission officer actually picked up the phone WHILE she was looking at a part of my file.

She actually got kinda shocked and scared in the phone, then told me "Great timing"

If you had the ability to vocally hypnotize, you would have been able to admit yourself.

ignore #2 and keep on replying. Keep going nspeds, I am making a collection of your personal insults in clean threads. I am sure the admin team will like your writing talent.

I have actually compiled your posts as Area69, they are quite hilarious.

At any rate, I used the Jedi Mind Trick on an adcom; it worked until I found out I was rejected.

By the way, I did not insult you; I merely made a joke. Surely you know the distinction.

stupid question here but..

the person that picks up the phone when we call the admission office to check the status, ask questions, find missing information, etc., do they have any bearing on the admission decision?
I hope not :[

well here is how it went.

first there is a person in undergrad office picked up the phone.
and then she transfered me to the application processing center, and i think i was transfered to a person who specialized in transfer applications.

the part she looked at was not my main application. but a part of my correction to the main file.

I just think this little coincidence is really amazing.

If she transferred u to the processing center, I doubt that person would have any power over making the decision...she's probably just a processor?

nonetheless, its pretty amazing.

i never thought about this matter's impact on my application, it's just a small funny incidence to talk about.

What university was this for?
