Why would you like to attend UPENN?

my most annoying question was....what have you learned from studying?

couldnt answer that one so i had to doublespeak

"tell me about yourself"

"what other schools are you applying to"

How about "Who would you say is your role model? But don't start with your parents or your family, talk about someone you don't know. Someone in, say, politics. Go."

I dont wanna be asked, "tell me, who are you?"

"if you could drop any course that you have taken in high school, which one would it be?"

"tell me, how does the german naturalization process work?"
my interviewer and I were talking about how i lived in germany when I was 6

"What makes you unique?"

"is this a pimple, or a goyder?"

If you could change anything in you high school career what would that be?

Seriously..how do you answer that question...

"You're too poor to go to Penn. How do you expect to pay?"

I had an ass of an interviewer. Luckily, however, I got it canceled and now all I had on my form was the good interview I had with the alumni office.

Anzanar, your interviewer is a real ass if he said that - interviewers are supposed to attract students to the school, not try and find reasons to turn them away. I would complain to the admissions office.

Actually, since my dad is the alumni interviewer for my school, we e-mailed the woman who oversees our areas interviewers and she said she would take his interview out as well as talk to him about it. So I was happy.

"who do you admire"
