Most Annoying Student Behaviors

I bet you’d do really well if you did take notes, but half-assing is cool too. When do people ever need to completely leave lecture? It’s not like they have a conflicting class. Show the professor some respect and stay through the lecture.

People who come to lecture with the plague. Not only can I not hear the lecturer, but I have the possibility of also contracting the plague.

^There was a concert I had purchased tickets to, for example, and the class was long/important so I didn’t want to completely skip it. I sat in the back, it was whatever. Or sometimes I have had sorority stuff to do, or other club meetings I just couldn’t miss. Or sometimes people have doctors appts and need to leave early to get a cab. Whatever it is. There are lots of reasons. But for courtesy’s sake, people who plan on leaving should sit in the back and leave quietly.

People that say “excuse you.”

A group of five girls who stand in a small hallway talking. When someone tries to say “excuse me” they do not listen. Eventually, the someone just pushes his or her way through and the girls all say “excuse you.”

OMG. I just remembered. Annoying f.uckers who walk so slow when I’m trying to get to class or how about the ones who have a f.ucking conversation in front of the door where people need to leave/enter. Sorry for the profanity, but yeah lol.

dlbecker is right, I was captive on a bus with some loud broskis who wouldn’t stop rapping to each other until the bus driver threatened them with being kicked off for the second time. They continued to be loud, however. Dumb loud frat types.

Um, if all the notes are on Powerpoint and the Powerpoint slides are readily available (either on Blackboard or whatever other sites that universities use), then why should I take notes? For my Anthropology: Culture and Language class, the entire class was based off the lecture slides. If attendance wasn’t mandatory, I could have just skipped class altogether and just come in on exam days because the test questions were directly based on the Powerpoint lectures. And currently in my History class, all my professor is doing is reading off the Powerpoint slides. Again, I don’t need to take notes when it’s all right there on Blackboard for me to download and read through.

Hmm, only one that really annoys me is when a student gets into an argument with a teacher during class over one of the teachers rules.

^ Yeah. I hate it when students act like they’re still in high school: talking through the class, coming in late every day, constantly complaining about reading and the work load. Sometimes I think people literally think they’re still in high school…

The couples taking classes together thing. Ugh.

Those who talk during a lecture (which really ticks me off because i have to record lectures for notes, as i can’t take them).

People who kick the back of my chair.

Those who fall asleep and snore loudly in class.

Those who don’t bring their own supplies…

Those who decide to open the most loud bag of chips during a test.

Those who feel that they are better than everyone in class Oo

I’m sure there are more. If i remember something else i’ll add it.

People DO think that college is basically 13th grade or something. They don’t realize how much different it really is, and how much harder you have to work. I think one of the bigger things is that they complain about how the teacher doesn’t do much teaching, when the burden is on them.

Anime obsessed people.

Oi now, thats just not fair… -forever will be a fan-

At least we’re better then posers and the like.

Yeah I think Anime is just really really weird , and the people who like it are equally awkward and weird

Why is anime weird?

The only anime I have ever watched and really liked is Dragon Ball and I am not afraid to admit that!

Sent from my MB860 using CC App

There seem to be a large portion of people who like anime that are awkward and weird. I am sure there are people who like anime that are not awkward and weird, but I haven’t met any.

I personally don’t care for it. It seems weird to me, though that’s just my personal opinion.

people who put loud music in at 2 AM

better yet people who RUN UP AND DOWN THE HALLS at 3am before a big test…

You are only allowed to diss anime after seeing three of the following:

Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Ghost in the Shell 2
Castle in the Sky
Pom Poko
Memories
Jin Roh

I used to think anime was for freaks too, until I saw Spirited Away.
Spirited Away

You’ve mentioned that we went to the same high school and I like some anime (see above post + anything by Miyazaki), so that’s not exactly true.
