^ -- omg tell me about it. I HATE it when super smart people say “I’m gonna fail” and when the get they’re tests back they got the highest grade in the class… It’s like ****! -- its like dude you studied 24/7 and youre telling me you’ll fail??? I hate this! What are they trying to say??? --

When people take 2300+s on the SAT. No joke, this girl in my school retook a 2380. This other dude also retook a 2320, and tried to convince my genius friend to retake a 2340, saying that “Princeton won’t consider you if you don’t get a 2350+”. Luckily my friend didn’t listen to him xD

when people post test scores on facebook (and especially when they write things like: 2290 on the SAT!!! WHY didn’t I get a 2300??)

When people say that a wonderful teacher is “bad” because the class is challenging

^Lol I’ll admit, I was ****ed when I got a 2290, since I was one dumb mistake away from a 2300 T_T I wasn’t n00b enough to post that on FB though :D

Some more:
-Freshman girls who add all of the hot senior girls (esp. cheerleaders) and try to act like they know the seniors for street cred
-Kids from TV Productions who prowl the hallways to record Asian kids and ask them questions (seriously, this happens all the time. The TV Pro kids seriously hunt for Asians)

When, usually overweight, clusters of a ‘minority’ clump up in the hallway walk at the pace of a snail. It’s so friggin annoying. And by minority I am referring to a certain race.

^^^ And those who love a teacher just because they don’t teach.
I overheard a girl who was in this amazing teacher’s class and she said she loved it solely because:
“She lets you eat, sleep, text, do whatever you want. She’s the best!”
-_-

To address those who hate people who complain about high test scores. If I should have gotten 100% and got a 98% due to dumb grading issues, of course I’m going to complain. I want whatever score I earned.

In fact, at the bidding of my father, I emailed my teacher and got my grade changed from an A to an A+. On my teacher’s grade book I had an A+, but somehow he entered it into my semester report as an A. Once again, if I EARNED an A+, I expect to receive full credit for it.

^ can you shut up? :)

Yea, that post was rather conceited… :(

Umm racist much?

No i’m not being racist, i’m being truthful of what goes on at my school. I’m not stereotyping or saying any derogatory comments. I just described them as politely as possible.

rush10 story of my life… a teacher put my grade in as a 53/55 online and i had a 54/55 and i approached him…

people who have the most obnoxious/annoying laugh and laugh at literally everything, even if it’s not funny. At all.

I don’t like it when people do well on a test and brag about how they didn’t study/try at all (when they are clearly lying).

I don’t have any problem with people who are not satisfied with high grades (i.e 95s, 98s) however, what DOES bother me is when they complain about it to other kids. You just sound obnoxious. It’s okay to not be happy about it, but you’re just making other people feel worse about their scores by complaining about yours

@ mandypandy
Why would that annoys you??? I’m a giggly person, I have to admit, & I can’t hold it in. So one day I was laughing at something that happened in class, and I was the only one laughing XP, and this girl was like “why is she laughing -___- it’s not even funny, her laughing is annoying and it makes me laugh” I thought that was so rude! I almost B**** slapped her!! I didn’t have the guts to of course, so I pretended I didn’t hear her
Learn how to laugh :)

^ I always go in and check on my grades. I’ve caught a lot of grading mistakes that are just made when one of my teacher’s types in the grade of someone below/above me, etc., or forgets to add a grade into the gradebook. Question everything! You deserve your grades; it shows that you are a dedicated student to your teachers if you take an active role in your grades.

I have a couple of behaviors that particularly annoy me:

Kids who always want to know what you got on a test. Seriously, please leave me alone. I don’t like giving out my grades or my rank. You already have an idea from the academic banquet (where our school announces the highest ranked students in each class), so make a guess.

People who act like they are God’s gift to the world. We all get it; you’re smart. On the other hand, you’re also completely self-centered, and no one really likes you. So please, wisen up already!

Kids who complain about their coursework. Of course it’s going to be challenging; if knowledge came easily we’d all be rich doctors/inventors/etc. by now. Work a little harder, don’t completely addle your brain with beer and weed, and do what you have to do to succeed.

ArKhAiK I know exactly what you mean. I go to a private, traditionally white school. By traditionally white, I don’t mean that we forbade minorities to apply; just that they never did.
But this year we started offering them full ride scholarships (which *es me the * off) and the school is crashing fast. They’re rude and disruptive in the hallways, chronically late to class, blast their ghetto **** music, call each other racial derogatives (which if I said I would be suspended) and generally act like animals in the hallway. Not to mention the fact that the crime rate has gone through the roof. It’s not racism when they themselves act like it and confirm the stereotypes.
And before anyone calls me racist, note that one of my closest friends is a minority.

People who criticize your college choice because “Ivy’s are doing terrible because of the economy”, then turn back around and start praising Brown. Hypocrites in general.

People who ask me what I get on tests ALL the time. It’s kinda like, “Yes. I got a 95 and you got a 96. Congratulations.”

People who freak out whenever they do better than me at an assignment/test or whatever. Seriously… big deal.

People who have to argue with EVERYTHING a teacher says. I want to punch them.

People who walk in the hallways and while you’re right behind them, decide to stop and talk to somebody. It’s like…, seriously?

^Completely agree with everything you just said, haha. Also hate people who stress about tests they know they’ll do well on.
