Most Beautiful Cal State Campus

Cal Poly Pomona and Chico State

I would say Cal poly pomona. The location is perfect and so green. The campus has so many ammenities and has a Turtle pond with koi fish! There is so much to enjoy on that campus.

Cal Poly Pomona also gets my vote, and I have been to quite a few campuses. It has the feel of a country club or a spa resort. No wonder tycoon W.K. Kellogg made it its own horse ranch back in the 20s.

Cal Poly Pomona. It reminds you of the days when so many people moved out west for fame and sunshine. Love the Jacarandas, old Spanish style buildings, citrus groves, horses, gardens and ponds. Thank you Mr. Kellogg for your legacy. SDSU and Cal Poly SLO a close second and third.

I canā€™t just pick oneā€¦ so Iā€™m going to say Pomona, SDSU, and SJSU.

same, ill say CPSLO, SDSU CSULB

Sonoma State University is by FAR one of the most gorgeous campuses in California in my opinion; thatā€™s why I chose it for my undergraduate studies years ago. Iā€™ve only visited CSU San Marcos, San Diego State, Humboldt State, CSU Chico, CSU Long Beach, and have driven by SF State, CSU Fresno, and CSU Stanislaus.

the only schools in california as beautiful if not more than pomona would be university of pacific and the claremont collegesā€“though stanford is pretty nice too. those privates can really spend some money for thatā€¦amazing that a CSU like pomona is in the same conversation.

Having been to SDSU, CSU Northridge, Channel Islands, Sonoma State, Chico, SLO, Fresno State SF State, SJSU, driven past Stanislaus, Iā€™m going to have to put my vote on Cal Poly Pomona. Maybe itā€™s the landscape architecture program that gives them the edge, but that campus is beautiful. I would have loved to have studied by that Japanese water garden when I was a collegian. So lovely and so tranquil, but shhhh! donā€™t tell anyone :-)

Wow Iā€™m suprised Fresno State has a vote. Thatā€™s the ugliest college I have ever seen. And I see it a lot since I live in Fresno and my older brother goes there.

Iā€™ve visited
UCLA
San Diego
Stanislaus

My vote goes to Stanislaus. Itā€™s very pretty, loads of trees and lots of ponds.

I went to Chico State for several years and I love how the Big Chico Creek flows right through campus. They have many trees including an arboretum near the biology/math building and Foxā€™s cafe. I havenā€™t been to that many campuses, but my alma mater gets my vote. =P

SD State is the best. I love the Spanish style archtecture. You really get a friendly vibe from it. Plus, the plazas and dorms are perfect for catching the sunlight.

Sonoma State - Lots of artwork and cute rural, but friendly style.

Call me crazy, but I actually like San Jose Stateā€™s old buildings. It helps you appreciate the schoolā€™s age. You can also make a case for Humboldt being in the beautiful redwoods. When the fog comes in, just feels so peaceful.

Iā€™ve seen more than half of all CSUs, but appearance wise, SDSU is the prettiest.

if you donā€™t have cal poly pomona in the top three you clearly have not visited the campus. sonoma by comparison is really lacking in anything distinctive either in architecture or greenery. san diego and san jose have nice features however and could be in the conversation.
