@mackinaw: University of Iowa also has a river running through part of the campus. Iowa City, a college town, is nice.
The Grounds at UVa are so beautiful and significant that they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
UVM ! Surrounded by the green mountains, Lake Champlain and picturesque Burlington. Beautiful old red brick buildings and a campus that while Semi/urban, is also full of that quintessential Vermont country feel. Best of both worlds with awesome views.

Oh yes, the library at Vassar is beautiful.

I’ve visited Sewanee, Furman, UVA, and UGA, and I can tell you that Rollins College far and away beats them. It is frequently in the news as Top 10 Most Beautiful. After Rollins, I’d put UNC, Davidson, and Va Tech. Then I’d add in Furman and UVA. And I haven’t been to High Point but hear it’s amazing. Hope to visit soon.
Lehigh, Virginia Tech, Furman, Notre Dame, and Connecticut College are all gorgeous. And there’s nothing quite like Dartmouth on a snowy evening.
Notre Dame and Richmond are both gorgeous.
WashU. Unfortunately, the campus is undergoing a huge construction project, but the campus is absolutely gorgeous. I love the architecture. There’s some nice green space and there are cute hidden pathways throughout the campus.

I haven’t seen Lewis and Clark (the Portland one) mentioned yet.
Coastal: UCSB - several dorms <5 minutes walk to the beach and beautiful views all over the campus
Suburban: Lewis and Clark great foliage and landscaping and nice river views from certain vistas on campus
Urban: USC - Wonderfully maintained buildings whether new or older
Neither of my DS picked these these schools, but I thought they were all stunning in their own way
I wish they weren’t so beautiful so we could pay less money and all have less debt.
Berry’s campus is as beautiful as it is large, and it’s the largest in the US, so that’s saying a lot! I interviewed there for a lecturer position last year but didn’t get it, sadly.

DD is a fan of beautiful schools so we have visited a few. In order High Point, Furman & Rollins (tie), and Christopher Newport U. High Point was like the Disney World of colleges - however, I think that beauty is only skin deep.
Mount Holyoke, Cornell, Marist, Princeton, and Christopher Newport (have you SEEN the fountain INSIDE the admissions building!?!).
@megan12 and @sahmkc love that you included CNU! Great little (and beautiful) school. Of course, I am totally biased as my son is a grad
