Of all of the colleges you have visited/have seen pictures of, which seemed to have the nicest campus?

I think it's a toss up between UVA and SMU

I was going to say UVA.

Princeton is also nice, if you’re into that type of gothic architecture.

Depends on weather.
From Sunday.

Scripps, hands down.

Bowdoin, Dartmouth

I fell in love with Bowdoin too. God’s country.

University of Wisconsin-Madison in May or July. No question in my mind.

Cornell’s not bad, as long as your back’s to Uris Hall, one of the worst eyesores ever built.

:) 30 minutes from my house, and I agree!

I was just having this discussion with friends at lunch today. I’ve visited a lot of schools on this college odyssey with DS #1 and Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR was by far the most beautiful campus–like something out of a fairytale.

Wellesley is gorgeous.

My vote for the most beautiful go to Middlebury and Stanford. Honorable mention to Syracuse, Cornell and Ithaca College.

Santa Clara…especially when the roses and wisteria are blooming. BUT there is always something blooming. Buildings and facilities are very pretty too…as is the nice climate.

University of Richmond, Dartmouth

Stanford- the view up Palm drive is stunning-- and Princeton in the fall with the leaves changing.

Furman and Sewanee. Two very different types of beauty, but both are gorgeous.

William & Mary (a little biased), Princeton, UNC Chapel Hill

Swarthmore. End of story. :)

St. Olaf, both walking/looking around, AND inside the buildings as well, except for most of the firms. Their thoughtful architecture and use of natural materials demonstrates the utmost in taste, imo!

Agree with a lot of the schools already mentioned … and I’d add Colgate to the list (amazing campus)
