Most Beautiful LAC campuses

What does everyone think are the most beautiful LAC campuses? I've read a lot of lists online, and I was just wondering what everyone's opinion was

Mt. Holyoke
Trinity (despite Hartford)
Williams
Agnes Scott
Vassar
Swarthmore
Kenyon
Sewanee
Colgate
Pomona
Wellesley
Smith
Scripps
Dickinson

If you leave Rhodes of this list, Curmudgeon will come after you ...

Here's one of the many lists offered by a magazine. It does, however, offer a few pictures to support the choices.

The 20 Most Beautiful Colleges in the USA

I tend to like Northeast schools because the variety of seasons really, in my opinion, adds to the beauty of the area.

Women's colleges in general are nice, or so I've heard. Smith is definitely a winner.

Vassar, Lewis & Clark, and Whitman

Bowdoin, Holy Cross-very well maintained-, Wellesley, Dartmouth(LAC type school).

I visited Smith, Mt Holyoke,Amherst,Hampshire, marlboro and Bennington in the fall all in New England. By far Bennington is the post beautiful and pastoral campus.

Colgate, Colby.

Add Carleton to the thin Midwest listings thus far.
Add Middlebury to the (possibly) over-generous Eastern selections.

Swarthmore's is very beautiful. Can't really speak about the others.

Pepperdine
Stanford
Rollins

^^ Stanford and Pepperdine aren't LACs...

mt. holyoke definitely.

Vassar, hands down. After that I would say Mount Holyoke and Colgate.

Swarthmore, Mount Holyoke, Vassar, Bowdoin, Kenyon

Pomona has a really beautiful campus.

Mt. Holyoke
Trinity
Williams
Agnes Scott
Vassar
Swarthmore
Kenyon
Sewanee
Colgate
Pomona
Wellesley
Smith
Scripps
Dickinson
Bowdoin
Sweet Briar
Rhodes
Middlebury
Colby
Bennington

Do Carleton, Rollins, Lewis & Clark, Whitman and Holy Cross rise to the standard of these others?

Oberlin is also a beautiful campus with some remarkable architecture and large green squares (with white squirrels).

Whitman. (10char)

Carleton, without a doubt. Two on-campus lakes. 900 acre arboretum with miles of running/cross country skiing trails. Wonderful historic town adjoining.
