Most Classes in a Day

Is four college classes in a day too much? The classes are only about 50 minutes each. I'm only taking 15 credits total for the semester. I don't have too many other commitments except feeding myself.

Seriously, that's a piece of cake.

Come on, isn't that what high school is like?

4 isn't bad. Mondays I have 5 classes this upcoming semester and one of them is three hours long. Last year I never had a day with less than 4 classes, and all of them were 1hr20mins.

that would stress me out a little because I usually try to even it out, like MWF 3 classes and TR 2 classes, or something so I'm not like OMG I HAVE SO MUCH SH-T DUE TODAY AHH, which will happen at some point. You'll have 2 tests back-to-back, a paper due, and a problem set or something, all in that one day. However, sometimes it just works out like that, and you can't change when class times are most of the time. (all but one of my classes this fall is offered at only one section)

Okay, thanks for answering. I wasn't sure what was really the norm.

I used to have two 3 hour classes 2 days a week. (9-12, 2-5) And in the other days I went to work. I always had something until from 9 o clock to 5 o' clock. 4 50 min classes? Dude that's like 3.3 hours a day, piece of cake.

4 is a little heavy (especially around midterms) but a lot of people do more. Don't worry about it.

you should be fine. it'll be difficult on some of those days, but your other days should be a lot more open, so if you actually plan your time well you should be fine.

When I was at my CC I had a single day where I had 6 classes in one day. It was rough just because it kept me on campus from 8am until around 11pm. While at UCLA I think I got up to four classes in a single day, but can't remember for sure. This coming year I've got 4 law classes a day, twice a week. So yeah you will survive it, it just can be a pain if all your midterms line up.

I have four classes on Monday. Three are 50 minutes but one is two and a half hours. I think that if we manage our time well (a big "if"...Lol), nothing should take us by surprise or stress us out too much. The day might be a little long, but I know school feels pretty good (if sometimes slightly boring) if I'm on top of my work.

You know you don't HAVE to go to every class.. hint hint :)

Not trying to brag, but I never found calculus lecture that helpful and I pulled a B in calc 1 and an A in calc 2... so if you don't really need the lecture, don't go.

Often you will find out it's not worth stressing yourself over.
