@abasket After having plantar fasciitis years ago, I need to have a supportive shoe with cushion . I cannot wear ballet flats and tho I have never tried Rothys, they look very uncomfortable given my foot issues. The Toms I posted do not necessarily look like they offer cushion or support, but for me, they were very comfortable.

+1 for Rothy’s - so lightweight and comfortable. I have both the pointy toe and the more closed rounded toe one’s (my favorites) and both are very comfortable. Getting a pair of loafers this summer.

I have few pairs of Rothy’s shoes. They are soft but do not give you much of support. They also do not have much of cushion.
Ara shoes have real rubber soles and cushions. I wear Ara ballet shoes and they have a bit of heel and are made of leather.
