Most common threads ever+surprising replies

Think about it, I'm sure you guys have all seen the-

I got a (insert sucky PSAT score here) on the PSAT this year...is this good for a sophomore?
ANSWERS: sympathetic and kind

Why is life so lonely? (add sob story about girlfriend-less situation)
ANSWERS: sympathetic and kind

I got a (insert crappy SAT/PSAT/ACT score here) on the (test). The (test) is automatically so stupid!
ANSWERS: sympathetic and kind vs. scoffing and unforgivingly brutal

OMG! I am soooo nervous about the (AP/SAT/PSAT/ACT/midterm) exams. To those of you who got (insert reasonably high score), what do you eat? When do you go to sleep? For how long? What sport do you play? Are you tall? Do you own a bunny??!!
ANSWERS: proud and nonchalant, assuring and sympathetic/kind, etc.

I have a (enter crappy GPA) GPA. But only because I never studied. The purpose of this thread is to allow me to laugh at people who beat me because they obviously don't have lives...right?
ANSWERS: Strangely enough, sympathetic and kind.

AHH! People, help me! I got a (bad ACT score) on ACT and (worse SAT score) on SAT...which one is better?? (desperate and hopeless)
ANSWERS: these people pretend not to see the magnitude of the suckiness. Usually suggest ACT scores. Encourage OP not to give up. Overall...sympathetic and kind.

Why do I keep getting the easy questions wrong? I only got a (enter here horrendous score) because I make careless mistakes (seems strangely infatuated with empathizing the specific "carelessness" or these mistakes. Because, obviously, these people aren't dumb. That's what they're trying to prove to themselves.). I got all the hard ones wrong. So now my (reenter crap score) is suddenly excused. Okay, cool.
ANSWERS: sympathetic and kind...some offer practice tests while others express breathless amazement at OP's apparently 'unique' ability to do this kind of stunt.

...and I'm out! I have come to the amused comclusion that CC people are generally very, very, very, nice and tolerant people. I can't tell you guys how tempted I have, in the past, been, to post something snide and self-satisfying to these kind of questions/situations. But then...glancing through all the other selfless and considerate posts, my heart melted and I too, offered my condolences lol.

So my point here is: What are your most sighted threads? And do you generally find the responses to them positive or not? I really want to see what the "niceness" of this site is, just overall...:)

I have a 2400 SAT and a 6.0 GPA. Chance me?

Answers: TROLLLLLLL

yes but without ■■■■■■ life would be pretty bland.

What [random object] are you?

What should I do in high school to get into HYPSM!!!

Answers: “■■■■!” and “leave CC while you still can!”

pshh not everyone is nice.

You’ve just been reading too many of Wartsandall’s posts.

Aww, you guys ARE nice…warts too lol. I love the people here, with the exception of some bitters. Ah well. :)

"pshh not everyone is nice.

You’ve just been reading too many of Wartsandall’s posts. "

Second this.

Many CCers annoy me, to be honest. I am only rude to a few, though.

I’m content with most of the people on this website.

Warts is very nice. It’s like being in a forum with the Brady Bunch.

^^^Wow, you make me feel so…naive lol.
I think it’s one of the first things every new CC-er experiences. A wave of love and adoration for this newfound niceness. But after a while the truth settles in.

Anyone care to (or audacious enough) name some of these…not-so-popular people? Oooh…:)

@ randomazn14: Go look in the thread in this forum entitled “B+”… that should give you a clue. hint, hint

lol don’t be like that, or you’ll be a sinner

Ah, wise words, all. I agree that the B+ place has yielded some cringe-worthy comments.

And what do you mean, Maple? I thought sinners were good people? I really am that naive?

yes. you’ll have to immerse yourself in CCism.

Wow, you’re going to be a great marketer one day, Maple. Congrats lol.

I’m loving this new philosophy haha…:)

lol maybe that’s what I can do with a degree in the humanities.
