just curious what guys think are the most connected undergraduate business schools.
In other words, schools where you will have a good chance getting good internships/jobs with big companies?

1.)Wharton
1.)MIT
3.)Stern
3.)Berkeley
5.)Ross
6.)Mcyntire
7.)Tepper

HYP gets you some mad connections by shear alumni association…

but Wharton definitely gets my pick otherwise

but if we’re talking about connections in the midwest, I have much praise for miami of ohio.

Their honors program in the farmer school of business is absolutely amazing! Some of the brightest professors I talked to on my college visits. They have beyond amazing job placement as well

If it’s the Midwest, I (in my biased opinion) would go with Notre Dame. It has the most alumni clubs of any school, high ROI, and has been rated the best undergraduate business program two years running by Businessweek, based on job placement, recruitment, and “academic quality,” whatever that means. Of course, it’s not like any college rankings are reliable, but this one does include some hard data that puts Notre Dame up there nationally, and definitely high if you’re going to mention the Midwest.

In the Texas
UT- great networking/internships
Mays-Texas A&M great networking/internships
Cox - SMU being located in Dallas great opportunities

In California:

Stanford / Berkeley-Haas
Berkeley

-

USC-Marshall
UCLA / Claremont McKenna
USC

Interesting list. As for connection in the north does baruch even come close?

Not even close I am afraid. But opportunities come to those willing to find them…if you try hard enough you can find them but the school name and alumni won’t help you at all.

k thanks. any other schools further down the list (can get in with a B+/A-)
