Most Desired Jobs

HI, my question is quite self-explanatory from my title.

Although I recognize this is a college forum, I'm guessing that people are agonizing over college admissions because they have some specific jobs that they want to get.

What are some desired jobs by prospective college students?

I'm guessing investment banking, doctors, and lawyers would be the top three?

Also, on another note, is there a really kin corollary between undergraduate education and these jobs?

Investment Banking all the way.

There isn’t a strong correlation with any specific major for these jobs, but you have to perform very well during your undergrad years.

Don’t go into a major just because it pays well. You’ll be miserable.

Most Desired Jobs = 4-hour work week that pays well and leave you plenty of time to explore stuff you actually enjoy doing. At least one guy found the formula, he is being coaching Sillicon Valley executives.

[The 4-Hour Workweek and Timothy Ferriss](http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/)

I know someone who graduated from Yale with a degree in art and is now an investment banker, so i guess it does not necessarily have to correlate.

Finance (big mistake), consulting, pre med, pre law
