Most Difficult AP Course?

I know it depends on who you are but there must be one that is "The Hardest". A true college level course. All I keep hearing is APUSH. Any others?

APUSH is cake, as is Calculus. Bio is fairly hard, but studying a good 3 hours a week in addition to your homework is enough for an A/A+. I just don't like English because it seems useless to me, but the class itself isn't hard, just annoying and tedious. I imagine Physics C/Chemistry will be hard, but I don't really know for sure. AP Latin is hard, as well.

AP Spanish is hard (for me anyway). AP European and U.S. are easy.

Eh, wouldn't say APUSH is cake. Often the lowest score in many students group of 8 AP tests or so. I'm currently taking Bio, and US, and at my school US is harder, for sure. I believe the hardest at my school would be physics, however I'm not eligible to take that course this year.

It depends on the teacher maybe? I had this history teacher last year for APUSH and I did not study at all. I read the book sometimes just so I don't miss some questions on the test, but other than that all I did was listening to her talk while half sleeping. I got a 106/107 in her class and made a 4 on the AP test.

AP Spanish Language was the hardest by far at our school.

But then again, there were only about 5 native speakers in our entire grade.

AP World History isn't exactly hard. But all the information you have to know, remember, and analyze is incredibly overwhelming. To me, anyway, and maybe that's only because I'm a professional slacker. Good at it, too. :)

So far, AP Chemistry and AP Spanish have been my hardest classes. AP Calc and APUSH are easy in comparison.

i think it varies for each school. at my school the hardest ones are chem, euro, calc bc, physics c

the medium ones are world history, gov, foreign language, english lang and lit, physics b, stat, calc ab

the easy ones are us history, human geo, java, and biology

Depends on the kind of person you are and/or the kind of teacher you have. Most people think AP Bio is hard but I don't and vice versa, I know kids who are intensely struggling with AP Calc AB this year, while the kids who took it last year are confused because they found it easy - turns out the teacher last year, who since retired, is a lot better than this year's teacher. It all depends.

My school generally thinks Bio, Chem, and Physics C are incredibly hard, as well as US, Euro, and Econ.

I'd probably say AP Chem (ap chem 2 at my school, not sure how others would compare)

AP Physics 2 is an easy A/B due to the teacher we have, it isn't rigorous at all (not many people score above a 3 unless they self study as well as in-class stuff)

I'm having more trouble with AP Physics B then I've had with any AP I've ever taken, but then, I am a senior and I kind of refuse to do work.....

gotta love the curve...92 last quarter.....

I would say the languages are the hardest for non-speakers.

Other than those.. I don't know. I haven't really had trouble in any AP courses, but my lowest grade has been in AP US only because the rest of my schedule took up so much time, I never read/took notes. I have a much higher grade in AP Euro, which is definitely a harder course at my school, because I'm taking it with a much easier courseload.

um definitely AP physics c (both mechanics and electricity and magetism at same time obv)... no comparison. calculus as a prereq...

I don't know on what planet APUSH is considered "cake" and AP Bio/Chem are considered "fairly hard", but at my school APUSH and AP Physics C are the hardest. Bio, Chem, any foreign language (including Latin), Calc, English Lang, Gov, and world are cake as long as you put in minimal effort. AP Stats, English Lit and Enviro Sci are cake no matter what.

I know I'm leaving some out but these are the first that come to mind.

APUSH was easy for me, but it had a ton of homework. Of all the classes I have taken, Chemistry has for sure been the hardest, but people have told me physics is hard.

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEED APUSH! i wouldn't consider it easy but i liked it and learned it well because i had an AMAZING teacher. i think art portfolio or something is the hardest, not that i've taken it.. heheh

US IS cake. I'm so ****ed I can't take chem or eng lang. US isn't challenging enough.

Spanish Literature is a beast--we read more in that class than in my IB Higher Level English class. And the readings are more difficult and date back to the 1500s.

AP Latin Vergil was insanely hard, not grade-wise, but in how much work you have to do in order to memorize all the material. AP Latin Literature is a bit easier though. Easiest AP classes I've taken were Psych (never read or did hw once, A+ and 5) and Language (once again nothing really to study). Physics and Calc were hard for me, but I'm not a math type of person.
