Most difficult Pre-med course...

What, in your opinion, is the most difficult and/or demanding pre-med course? Which is the easiest (relatively speaking)?

If organic chemistry is universally thought to be the hardest, what would be next on the list?...

Thanks.

For me Organic Chemistry was not hard. I took it last semester and got an A. I think the Anatomy and Physiology I and II classes were very hard because we had to memorize almost everything. I ended up getting C in I and B in II, I could have gotten an A. The Professor made it so hard for students. She use to give us bunch of papers, and diagrams to memorize. And the test were extremely hard, they were some multiple choice and many essay questions and labeling. She use to take so many points off for small mistakes. Barely some people got an A. I don't understand why some prof. make us suffer so much.

I assume Anatomy and Physiology courses were part of your major? What about strictly within the basic pre-med requirements?

In my opinion there aren't really any difficult courses in the pre-med curriculum. Last time I checked they were all introductory courses. For me at least I have always found my advanced 300+ level courses to be much more challenging, the pre-med stuff wasn't nearly as bad. So assuming that you are planning on majoring in some science related field I would guess that you will see much harder classes then the pre-med ones

I agree with what has been said, for me if i look at the grades i got i would have to say that physics was the hardest course but thats only because i wasnt allowed to take the easier "premed" physics because i'm an engineer...those were my only Bs in premed courses otherwise everything else is B+ to A. However the premed class i did the most work in was definately orgo, hands down. It is way more demanding than any of the other classes and thats why they say your performance in orgo usually is a good indicator of how you do in med school.
