Most difficult service academy?

Hi, all:

Just wondering as we just begin the college process...

Which service academy is the hardest to get into?

Which service academy is the most difficult once you get in?

My stepson really wants to go to the Naval Academy, and I'm just wondering if we need to pursue some other academies (though right now, he's not interested in doing so!)

THANKS!!

All three are arguably similar in terms of difficulty of entrance -- although academically, I would say the AFA (Air Force Academy) is the most difficult to be admitted to.

However, in terms of physical/academic difficulty once in, I would definitely have to vouch for West Point.

in terms of staying it's West Point (USMA) by far. The freshman year there is unbearably rough, but it definitely pays off if you can stand it

And I've always heard that mentally and psychologically the Coast Guard Academy is toughest once you get in!

I guess it really depends on opinion.
