Hello!

I am currently a high schooler trying to figure out what I should major in. I am interested in the health sciences (the helping people part), but I also want to create medical technology and do research with stem cells/diseases in order to find cures. I am aware that biomedical engineering is an option that fulfills most of this criteria, but after reading several posts, it seems fairly ineffective for future employment. Based on your experience, would going into a more traditional engineering major get me where I want to go, or should I just major in the health sciences and look for a career in research?
