In keeping with tradition, the 2011 October SAT Critical reading curve was extremely generous and the most generous yet. ( I got QAS today).

Went

67 800
66 800
65 800
64 800
63 790
62 780
61 760
60 740
59 740
58 720
57 700
56 690
55 680
54 670
53 660

And so on, going down by 10's with occasional repeats.

I'm pretty surprised because I didnt think the CR was that difficult for that administration

I think there was another one in the blue book that was similar.

Among the tests in January, May, or October, the curve cortana lists is the nicest one to date (i.e., 10/2011 was the toughest CR test so far, among this group of dates).

Many of the hardest CR tests / nicest CR curves have occurred in October. Many of the easiest math tests / harshest math curves have occurred in October as well. I can hear the rumors about which is the best month to take the test already!
