I know, for example, that Northwestern is huge on the essay, PSU mostly looks at transcripts...

What, if anything, does Georgetown take into consideration most/more in the admissions process?

I'd say class rank and your essays are the most important, especially the essays.

I agree. I would say that grades/class rank are most important, then essays and recs, then test scores.

I agree with Lauren

I think the interview carried some weight, too..because I had a wonderful interview but I personally thought my essays were mediocre.

Did anyone who had an awful interview get in?

I don't think I had an awful interview, but I had a very boring one. A very boring, mediocre, bland, lackluster, uneventful, and unethusiastic interview. Does that count as awful? LOL. Seriously, though. It definitely couldn't have helped my application.

I definitely think the essays are very important, and I think it helps if you have gone out of your way to do activities or take classes on what you plan to go into. For me, I don't have the best grades, I have a 3.5 for both my junior year and first semester senior year, but I think they liked how I want to major in Spanish and I took (and got an A in) a college-level Spanish lit class, and how I want to go into medicine and I'm taking an EMT class, and I volunteer in the ER. I wrote about that for my second essay, and I think that helped a lot. My interview went well, but it didn't seem like it had that much weight. My interviewer took it pretty lightly and was just kind of like "yeah, ok, I'll tell Georgetown that you're cool".
