<p>I always heard that your GPA is the single most important thing for CC transfers to UC. Why is that? I was pretty confused, because you know in hs...you packed up on extra carricular stuff. </p>
<p>When UC's look at transfer applicants, is the GPA the first thing they look at? What solidifies their decision to admit a student?</p>
<p>Other factors are important, but gpa is definitely the biggest and most weighted factor. It's like that because they want to see how prepared you are for their program. The better you do in the pre-requisites and lower divisions, the better you'll probably do there.</p>
