<p>According to the BLS, from 2008 to 2018:</p>

<li>Civil Engineering.</li>

<p>The percentages are very misleading because they only take into account the demand side of the labor market and not the supply side. The BLS points that out in their article on BME, that despite the 72% job growth the popularity of the major has exploded on college campuses in recent years, limiting opportunities for new graduates.</p>
<p>^ And it doesn’t take into account that the majority of bme jobs are looking for mechE’s or EE’s to fill the position. Not bme majors.</p>
