Most influential woman

I have to write an essay for I think who is the most influential woman in history.

any suggestions?

your mom

seriously -_-

Mary, mother of Jesus, Queen Elizabeth I, Mother Teresa, Gloria Steinam, Marie Curie, Rosa Parks, Queen Hapshepshut(SP?)

I am sure there are more, but those are ones I thought of off the top of my head.

check out this link for the 30 top influential females of the millienium...

http://www.pinn.net/~sunshine/whm2001/whm_01.html

also...eleanor roosevelt and rachel carson, mary woolencraft

Mary Wollstonecraft is a real good one... Madeleine Albright.... Sandra Day O'Connor.... Here's another website that has a bunch more....
http://school.discovery.com/schooladventures/womenofthecentury/phenomenalwomen/index.html

The previous suggestions, are good. Most definitely Marie Curie, Sandra Day O'Connor, etc... are definitely influential. However, I urge you to think of someone that would illicit a "What? How is she influential?" response. Then turn it into a twist.

$0.02

haha i found couple that you could turn into a twist... Anne Bonny and Mary Read... they were crossdressing pirates.... definatly influential :)

Ayn Rand... alright just kidding...

I like Rachel Carson and Marie Curie though for priorities; science is a great field for involving on this subject

Ayn Rand is an excellent choice... bah, but I'm just biased

most influential women in history?

the mother of buddha.

the end.
