Hey,

I am just curious, of all the residences at UPenn, which one has the greatest musical presence? I am a classical violinist and in addition to doing engineering, I want to take those subsidized private lessons and participate in ensembles. I also read from the housing package that "It is not unusual for a House to hold a recital or masterclass by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra." Is this true? Also I read something about the Blutt College House Music Program, what exactly is that? I am just reading over the material about Penn and it just seems music plays a huge role in the undergraduate presence. So I am just looking for advice as to which residence I should sign up for/which residential program to choose if I want to continue pursuing violin and ensemble playing. Any general comments on residential programs/living at Penn are also welcome.
