<p>Remember that the most popular major isn't necessarily the best, and the least popular major isn't necessarily the worst. At Dartmouth (which I realize you didn't ask about, but it's what I am most familiar with), Govy and Econ are very popular majors, but students often complain about the over-crowding and difficulty of getting into courses. I, on the other hand, am in a very small department, and it's wonderful - everyone knows each other very well, classes are small, there is a lot of personal attention, and the professors are just as good as the Econ profs.</p>
