Which were most popular among your classmates? For our school, it was:

Stanford (West Coast, though, so unsurprising)
Dartmouth
Brown
Pomona

Dartmouth

Dartmouth among the girls.
MIT among the men.

Every year a very small handful go to Princeton or Yale.

Most end up at UNC though, and some at NCSU.

5-way tie between MIT, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, and Carnegie Mellon.

That is, I applied to the first 3 and my friend applied to the other 2. We don't get many top college applicants around here.

Upenn for everyone lol

UPenn,UPenn and UPenn....I think 15 people applied this year with 10EDers !!!! I'm an international student and from my school max 30-35 people go to USA.Penn is by far the most popular choice.

there are some ivy whores who apply to every single on of usnews top 20 colleges. They think that college is like a lottery. But other than that, a wide variety of colleges. Texas A& M , UT, Rice, UTD ( for the free everything including bonus stipend and laptop), NYU, HYPMS, OU.

We don't really have Ivy League wannabes, but we do have a lot of people who apply to the University of Michigan and one or two who go to the University of Chicago.

Just about everyone at my school just goes in-state to MTSU, UT, or TTU (Tennessee, not Texas).

I think one of our valedictorians (we had 18 last year) ended up going to Cambridge, one went to Brown, one went to USC, one went to Rhodes, one went to some med school in India. Most of the rest just took their huge scholarships to public schools.

I think that a lot of people go to SUNY Binghamton and Uni of Delaware.

The top people go to Yale and Harvard.

For some reason there's a ton of people applying to Dartmouth this year.

Def. Yale, Princeton, Northwestern, Notre Dame, UChicago, and WashU

Stanford 10 char

University of Michigan. We don't really have anybody who want to go to Ivies, although a few people got into MIT this year.

Nobody from my school has ever been accepted to an Ivy League school. I can't even name anything better than Georgia Tech (which, admittedly, is good for a public school, sooo) which I know that anyone attended.

Definitely Northwestern. Few end up attending, but tons of my school's top students apply there.

Vanderbilt and Emory, my top 2. Dammit.

Most people end up going to FSU or UF, though.

Everyone goes to Maryland.

Northwestern is by far the most popular. Tons of people from my school go there every year

Next, its probably Stanford or Harvard

We've never had any seniors (We won't until after next year). So as it stands college admissions is like this: 80% are concurrently attended a community college.
