<p>I don't know if newer ones exist. A rather unofficial way to get ballpark estimates these days about majors is to join the Rice facebook network and do searches for majors in a given year. </p>
<p>About how to get Rice to notice - just be yourself. If you're creative, don't be afraid to show that ;). And definitely interview, if not on campus, with an alumnus/alumna in your area.</p>
