Most Rewarding Majors

Do you know where I can find this information on US Bureau? Thanks.

[U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics](http://www.bls.gov/)

After you get there you can put various careers in the search bar in the top right corner.

Here’s a better link: [Social Scientists, Other](http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos054.htm)

I will also keep that job in mind to consider as I go through my major, and appears it still could be accomplish through a international relations major aslo ( which I think I may have as my major, and probably a minor in economics… though I’m still open to political science major also). Median salary is very decent.

That is what I said, the mean annual wage is around 99K for political scientists, which is very good. I want a minor however, if I find a degree that I fall in love with or would benefit me I would just double major. Are you considering to double major?

Oh no I don’t think I would ever want to consider to double major, I’ve heard it’s really difficult. Thats why I would prefer a minior, which has large benefits. Though a double major could resort to disaster… well thats just what I’ve always imagened. Safest would be to declare double major maybe your sophmore ( or junior )year if you feel like you could balance it after experiencing freshmen year.

Yeah I guess, I mean what exactly does a minor do for you? How many years does it take to obtain a minor?

I think a minor only takes four years like your major, though it could add a extra semester if you don’t want your workload to be too much. A minor will more than likely keep you well rounded, such as minoring in economics will still keep you in a good position for attending buisness school etc…

what’s the outlook on job opportunities for becoming a nurse practitioner or physician assistant ?
