Most "scenic" campuses

Unfortunately, UC Berkeley really doesn't "look out over the SF bay." If you stand in certain buildings and lean over balconies and crane your neck to the side, you can catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate and a bit of the bay, and I definitely do think it's a beautiful campus, but this characterization seems a bit of a stretch (trust me, I'd be happy if it did look out over the bay in an obvious sense).

I'd add Loyola Marymount, which is on a hill that looks over Los Angeles. The view can often be smoggy, but on a clear day, it's dramatic and impressive. Also, Marymount College (also SoCal), which sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific (I haven't actually seen the campus in person, but aerial photos of the campus suggest that the views are pretty impressive).

I also second Scripps College in particular, but Claremont in general. On clear days (the key), the San Gabriel Mountains are a beautiful backdrop. Coming back to campus after winter break was one of my favorite things ever...snow-covered mountains and towering palm trees all in the same view.

I've been incredibly impressed with photos of some northeastern campuses...rolling hills, vibrant autumns, lots of natural beauty.
