Most Selective Colleges

Penn
Northwestern
Georgetown
UCLA
UVA/Emory
Boston College
NYU
Michigan

Hmm...can we add UChicago to this list?

my stats are 1900 sat (640 verb and math 620 writting) 3.75 gpa (hopefully higher this week) really good ecs and recs

i want to study business and those were basically my reach schools. (so mabey thinking stern not the college at nyu, dont know if that changes anything)

emory is as selective as uva out of state?

do i stand a chance at any of those schools?

Penn
U of Chicago/Northwestern
Gtown
Emory
UVA/UCLA

the rest idk

if u by median sat of entering class

it would be

Chicago
Penn
Northwestern
Gtown
Emory
UVA
UVLA

u go by acceptance rates

Penn
Gtown/UVA/UCLA
chicago
emory

idk....

Penn
Northwestern
Georgetown/ U of Chicago (despite its higher acceptance rate, the school still holds incredibly high standards for the people they choose to accept.)
UCLA/Emory
UVA
Boston College/NYU
Michigan

The acceptance rate for Georgetown has consistently been a fair bit lower than UVA, UCLA, Northwestern going back at least 15-20 years and is actually closer to Penn than these schools are to Georgetown. The chances of a particular getting into Georgetown more easily because of self-selecting and in-state applicant pool charcateristics of some of these other schools, that is up for debate.
