<p>Lol. If it were me, I would write about --wait, what college is this for?</p>
<p>Do a piece of self-ironic performance art. That is, let your college essay be your most significant failure.</p>
<p>Or to wrong about.</p>
<p>Lol. Say how your failures have taught you some great moral lesson, just make sure it isn’t cheesy.</p>

<p>If you have to, make up a significant failure. The whole point of the prompt is to assess if you are adaptable and creative enough to take a hardship and use it to facilitate growth as a person.</p>
<p>Show that you’re human. Show that you matured as a result of something going wrong, even if the “failure” itself was relatively insignificant.</p>
<p>Talk about something you poured your heart and soul into (even if you actually didn’t) but came up short anyway. Maybe like a project/competition.</p>

<p>One year, I practiced all summer to try out for our school musical. But I chickened out. I was so disappointed in myself, but ended up joining one of the crews instead. I ended up making amazing friends, and having a wonderful time.</p>
