take some modafinil and you will stay up for a few days no prob

Around 50 hours. Nothing academic oriented at all.

With the blizzard 2 years ago, 60 hrs straight of working. I was driving and seeing spots, and my hair and coat were frozen in place.
Academic wise, maybe 18 hrs, w/o sleep = I cant think.

Not much, I don't know how many hours but basically I spent one day and night working and then went to sleep the following day around 5 or so. I also had about 6 weeks of an accelerated class over the summer where I got about 5-6 hours of sleep on average during the week. I always see people here talking about how they have no time to do anything other than study, but that was really the only time I ever literally didn't have time to do anything else during the week, for longer than one week. I also know lots of people that seem to be constantly pulling all-nighters, but I can't figure out why, since we're in mostly the same classes. Bad time management, I guess.

I know some people are perfectly ok with sleeping like 5 hours a night for weeks on end, but I am definitely not one of those people. I need at least 9 hours of sleep, and that's only if I've been consistently getting 9 hours of sleep for the past week...otherwise I'd need 10, maybe more. I can't concentrate on anything besides the fact that I want to go to sleep when I'm tired anyway, so there's no point. I've basically gotten into the habit where I just stop whatever I'm doing at midnight, whether I'm done or not, and go to sleep.

I agree it is stupid to not get sleep. I have done this for the last week, and although I get a lof of studying done, I don't remember anything during the test. I studied a lot for a Greek Myth test today, but since I haven't gotten more than 4-5 hours of sleep a night, I remembered absolutely nothing.

4 days straight
with a total of 4 hours of sleep.

never again.

72 hours without a wink of sleep is my record, from the last few days of a summer program which had a business plan competition included (we were finishing off the business plan). Fueled by caffeine, of course.

Dead tired by the end, but the program was still on, so I basically fell asleep everywhere I went. I would say never again, but it actually wasn't that bad :P

^ icky!

i went 48 hours awake with 5 hours sleep. we flew to o'hare for the notre dame game (by way of baltimore, because you know, flying from LA that's the perfectly logical thing to do!) and i couldn't sleep on the plane. then we go straight to practice, then to our hotel (at last!) but still don't sleep cuz it's our only day in chicago. finally go to bed late, wake up EARLY, drive to south bend, perform at the game, drive back and flop into bed xD
and then fly back home...
