If National Lampoon’s vacation movies or something along the lines of Home Fries doesn’t scream “get thyself to college” then nothing will.

I thought the Perfect Score was kinda stupid.

[spoiler alert]

I mean, the movie made all the kids seem like such wonderful people when they decided not to use the answers. Never mind the fact that each kid saw half the test, which of course is not cheating and doesn’t give any unfair advantage.

college road trip

21! Good Will Hunting too. It has to do with MIT ^_^

I second October Sky! Good book too, although it’s titled, Rocket Boys.

The Girl Next Door…

He’s trying to get a scholarship to Georgetown!

I love October Sky! It was the “motivating movie” we watched in 8 Honors. The movie’s title is an anagram of Rocket Boys, the book title.

I find Gattaca inspiring in an academic way, but that probably because we watched it in school.

And I third (fourth?) The Perfect Score.

^ Ha, we watched it in eighth grade, but it was an entire eighth grade thing. We were building rockets in science, so they thought it would be a good movie. I got addicted.

Orange county was really good, albeit the main character doesnt get into his dream school.

Is It College Yet? (Daria tv movie)

13 going on 30. LOL. umm i guess the perfect score and i’ve heard about accepted a lot as well.

A Beautiful Mind
Reason #1 A couple of oscars
Reason #2 Russel Crowe/ Jennifer Connelly
Reason #3 Will make you want to study

^I loved that movie. I also recommend it:)

I loved A Beautiful Mind as well! Made me interested in mathematics, for like a second. It’s one of my favorite movies. :)

Oh my gosh, you stole mine! But I guess you beat me to it.

Accepted is motivating too, and it dosen’t get old either! I’ve watched it like 99 times.

This one too. ^.-

A beautiful mind is great movie too.

What? lol.

College Road Trip…jk that movie sucked.

Better Luck Tomorrow was a great movie. i loved when the screen went black and the SAT words came up on the screen. and the words always had some relevance to what was going on in the movie at that point. though overall the movie is more disturbing than motivational.

Dude! Only one person mentioned American Pie! ***!

It’s like… the greatest HS/College movie ever, bro! It tells you to live your life, it tells you that you’re only in college once. Go out there and have fun, put away your books, and have the time of your life!

That… and THE BREAKFAST CLUB or FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF. 80’s HS movies like those are really spectacular. Other movies like Accepted are good too, I especially like the message in that film.

accepted is awesome!! omg

man i sound like such a ditz on the internet

Better Luck Tomorrow!

Orange County. For me, it made me realize if I don’t get into Wharton ( my dream school) that it will all work out.
