I am an international student from Jamaica. I applied early decision to Mount Holyoke College. It's where I really want to be this fall. I'm so nervous. I can't wait to hear my admission decision. So, who else is applying ed and where are you from. Lets wait together and support each other.

Although I’m applying RD, I sent in my app & supplement to MHC earlier today.

Sent in ED! I’m from Florida. Had some issues with my application but they got resolved and now I’m anxiously awaiting the decision. Decisions usually come out around December 18, or at least that’s how I believe it was last year. Good luck to all of us!!

I’m so happy someone replied. It seems this years moho thread is alot slower that all the previous years. Approximately17 more days ladies. Good luck!

Hey guys!
I am from Pakistan. And I early applied to MoHo!
I’m an average student. But my recs and essays were pretty good! The thing that is worrying me is that I didn’t submit my SAT score. Hopefully it won’t affect my application negatively.
BEST OF LUCK GUYS!

TO BE HONEST, I AM SO SCARED! I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO EARLY APPLIED FROM MY SCHOOL. I HOPE WE ALL MAKE IT GUYS :)

Did you girls submit your mid year school report/grades? I figured that was sent until after the decisions are made because we’ve applied ED, and I looked at a thread from a previous year and many didn’t send in the report for their application…but I’ve had it sitting there for a while and I’m not sure? Getting nervous now since I had a few issues with the application process.

@
I already graduated so all my grades are included in my application. The mid year report isn’t necessary for the ed round but if u have it, I suppose you could send it.

Approximately 15 days left! Fingers crossed!!! [-O<

@nmr29, Your school’s guidance office should send whatever first-term (quarter, trimester, semester, whatever) grades you have. If I were you I would double check with them that they have done so.

Hey! Well so I emailed MHC and they said that I can submit my mid-year report once it is available (which is gona be MID-JAN)
i can’t wait for the decision. MoHo is my dream!!!

That’s what I figured, that it’d be available until January or so (since that’s when the first semester is over) and that’s when I could send it! Thanks much for the replies! I’m so excited and nervous with you all~

Try not to stress and continue to focus on your last year of high school. I know… easier said than done. Best of Luck!

guyss! who all submitted their sat scores? and what were they?
I’M SOOO SCARED!!!

Hey girls! I applied ED and have my fingers crossed along with the rest of you…I did submit SAT scores and just sent in my mid year report as well. From what I’ve been reading the 18-23 is when we can expect to be notified; is that right? Best of luck to you all!

what was your score?:)

My daughter has applied ED - there is no way they can have your half-year grades. My daughter’s school sent in her first quarter grades. She was upset because it was marked as missing from her application. My understanding is that they still require that you send the midyear grade even after you are accepted to show you haven’t fallen prey to senioritis :-)

Good luck!

Twinsgirlsmom, I’m sorry, I meant 1st quarter! My bad. A few things were actually marked as missing on mine as well, but a quick phone call to check on that it turns out it was a mistake and they straightened it out. They were very nice about it. Pakistani, my SAT scores were 680 for writing, 760 for critical reading, and 630 for math. :)

Pakistani, I sent mine as well. 790 for Writing, 600 for Reading, 540 for Math, 600 for Literature, and 770 for Spanish With Listening. I’d say I’m a bit on the average side of those who submitted their scores…I think if you have a nice list of extracurriculars and such, you will be fine without SAT scores.

One week left! Unless this year takes a bit longer than last year. :)

I feel like I’ve been worry myself into an early grave. 7 more days feel like an eternity.
