Mount Holyoke Official RD Acceptance Thread

Sadly, it seems like no one has really applied to MHC this year. But, I don't care because MHC is so cool! I GOT INN! I got an email today stating that i'm accepted to be a part of the class of 2012.

I also got invited to the diversity event---i've already been at MHC, so I won't be visiting, but i'm so elated!!!

Congratulations! :D That's so exciting. I'm not applying RD (hoping to transfer), but, hey, I'm applying nonetheless so I figured I'd post here. lol

AmenoMusicista, thanks!!!! Good luck to you and i'm so glad there is someone else lurking around the MHC thread!!!!

hi! congratulations! i got in, too! ^^ just found out by email a couple of minutes ago lol

I'm lurking as well! Congrats on your acceptance! :)

Just to satisfy my curiosity... are you international?

congrats yepunsarang and pinkieboox3!
I've always read MHC threads, just never posted anything.
I applied RD too. but i haven't heard back yet. oh well. lol
yea, are you guys international? if not, which state do you guys live in?

Congrats pinkieboox! I'm so glad that i'm not the only MHC-er this year! I have company!! I'm not an international, but I think students of color (some of them) are being notified now to have them consider attending Diversity Day. Interesting how some schools are letting out decisions quite early in the game! Good luck everyone else---i'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

Oh yeah, by the way, i'm in NY

i'm an international student, i want to know when can i get the decision.
i was deferred in early decision and i think if i'm rejected by mhc, i cannot be accepted by other schools...

Wow, my situation here is very much like huan151617!! I'm an international and deferred in ED....and well i don't know if they're gonna remove me from the waitlist...

Congratulations to those who were accepted and good luck to those waiting. I'm guessing that Mount Holyoke had a record number of applications this year, there's just not much activity on this board. If you check Facebook about 50 women are already in the MHC 2012 group.

Even if you have visited before, I highly suggest that you register and attend the Diversity Event. That is one thing that makes or breaks your decision to go. Also, the program that Admissions has planned for you is so amazing, you really would not want to miss out. I really really wish you would consider attending. Congratulations, MHC class of 2012 and welcome to Mt. Holyoke!

thanks everyone! :) haha yepunsarang you are not alone! p.s- are you krn? (your username...lol)
i am not international; im from md. good luck to everyone! :)

Congrats Girls!! I'm really happy for you! xxxx

Hi, a mom here just checking on the schools to which my daughter applied. She is really hoping MHC works out, and she could certainly use some good news today! She visited MHC over the summer and loved the science building.

No emails yet, from what I can tell. We live in the midwest.

When is Diversity Day?

I might see you next year! (I'm a junior, and definitely applying)

i am international, but haven't receive email yet. i wonder whether this means i am rejected

Well guys, I think most of you will hear back from MHC by April 1st---most definately by then cause you just have to check your status online by that point. Witch&wen, i'm sure you're fine. Just sit tight and let's see what happens.

Thanks, yepunsarang.
Maybe I should keep waiting for the result. :)

no no no...internationals do not receive emails...I'm sure of this. don't worry, and I guess the results will be online before April.1, I'm not quite sure, but both ED I and ED II results came out way earlier than the supposed date each year, and so do the RD results. So I'm assuming this year results will be released earlier too. (I'm talking about international students) Only personal guess.
