Anyone else out there?

I've applied to Mount Holyoke as a prospective second-year student (at least, I believe that's where I'll be placed).

Has anyone else?

Anyone else out there?

I've applied to Mount Holyoke as a prospective second-year student (at least, I believe that's where I'll be placed).

Has anyone else?

I am! Except I’m applying as a prospective third-year (hopefully, if all my credits transfer)

Does anyone know when we’ll be hearing anything back from them??

Hey, nice! I asked in the other thread what your major was, haha.
I hope that you get in where ever fits you best!

We’ll be hearing back from them “on or before mid-April”. So, April 15th? Around there? I’ll check around and see when fall transfers last year found out.

Hey thank you, you too! Right now Mount Holyoke is my number one choice to transfer to. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I was reading some old threads and a lot of girls found out by the end of March, so I’m hoping it will be the same for us too!

Hello, I am a prospective third-year transfer as well. I just got accepted today. My decision to get enrolled mostly depends on scholarships and no. of credits transfers? Do you know when they might give us a tentative idea about the no. of credits transferred?

Thank you in advance!

Congrats shadowcat!! How did you find out?? I didn’t get an email or anything and my ISIS still has not changed…this is making me a bit worried.

And as for transfer credits, I’m not entirely sure but when I was visiting for transfer student visit day, I talked to my host and she said that Mount Holyoke is usually pretty generous about transferring credits (especially if you already took liberal arts courses at your previous institution) and if there are credits that don’t transfer, you can always try talking to admissions again. Sorry I’m not much help but again, congrats!

Hey congratulations shadowcat!
Also, pinkblossoms, I received my e-mail this morning, just give it some time. I was rejected, so I think that if you were rejected as well you would have found out by now!
No worries~

Shadowcat, I say wait on the mail to arrive. It shouldn’t take more than a week for the letter. Mount Holyoke does give a lot of transfer credit and good financial aid packages. Good luck!

Aw I’m sorry eelizabeth I hope you do end up wherever it is that is right for you!

I just called the Admissions office and they said they do transfer applications on a rolling basis??? And that once my application is complete they’ll review it. That’s strange. I completed my application weeks before the priority deadline (somewhere in mid February) and still haven’t heard anything…though on my ISIS it says that I’m missing a mid year transfer report which I can’t provide since I’m not in college…I’m hoping this doesn’t make them see my application as incomplete though since when I called about a month ago they said don’t worry about it.

pinkblossoms19 - I got an email saying my application decision was posted in my ISIS account. Thanks! I really hope you hear the good news soon.
@eelizabeth - Thank you! I really hope that you end up somewhere good . Best of luck to you too!

I only applied to three colleges, and I’ve been rejected from two. I really don’t want to spend any more time at community college!

I am transferring from an international university. So I applied to 9 other colleges.
Bryn Mawr College (Application materials went missing)
Barnard College (Didn’t receive an application acknowledgement mail yet)
Boston University (same as above)
NC State (waiting)
UNC Chapel Hill (waiting)
Binghamton -SUNY (waiting)
University of Wisconsin Madison (waiting)
University of Minnesota (accepted)

@eelizabeth - Hi! I hope third time is the charm for you. fingers crossed :)

Hey everyone! I applied as a prospective third-year student and got wait-listed. I got this decision soon after I emailed them about my mid-term transfer report(which I have yet to turn in). So my gut tells me that my admission into the school is dependent on how they like my mid-term report.

Jamballa - How soon after you e-mailed them your mid-term report did they notify you? I finally got my mid-term report waived on Monday so I just wanted to see how much longer I needed to wait…hopefully not too long!

And ah I hope you make it in!

@pinkblossoms19 I emailed them about my missing mid term report in the morning and got the wait list decision around 7:30 that evening. I just sent out my actual mid-term report this morning so I really can’t offer much insight on how long we might need to wait for a final decision…kinda scary

Ah I see. I haven’t even received a decision yet, so I don’t know if I’ve been waitlisted or rejected or accepted. I called the admissions office today and they said for me to “check my e-mail for my decision” and I got excited but when I checked there was nothing there, and it’s been two hours since I’ve called them. Oh well. Looks like I’ll have to wait until mid-April!

Sorry for the double post, but just got my decision letter today. I was waitlisted Anyway, I won’t be accepting my spot on the waitlist since I’ll be attending Smith instead. Best of luck to all of you!

Hi pinkblossoms19! Congrats on your acceptance to Smith! It’s a great school. I kinda wished I applied to Smith too. Anyway, thanks for the best wishes. Best of luck to you too!

I applied to Mount Holyoke as a transfer as well. My sister heard back and got accepted. still waiting on mine. anyone else? Also, for those of you already accepted would you mind posting your GPA’s or test scores.

Freaking out!!!

@pinkblossoms19 wow! Congrats on smith! i guess it’s mt. holyoke’s lose. I’m not sure about this waitlist situation i’m in. I’ve kind of just accepted it as a lose, but i still secretly hope to hear back good things. How is everyone else cooping with it?
