<p>Hey guys, I am an international student from Bangladesh. I am facing certain problems regarding my financial aid. I did mention in my CSS Profile that the highest my parents can afford is around $12000. but the aid I received is around $33000. I have asked them to consider my father’s retirement in 2016, but the reimbursement form says that they are only going to consider it from that year. If I request the financial aid committee to increase my aid, what are the chances of that actually happening? How flexible are they</p>
<p>They are still reviewing my application. Its frustating that my FAO shows no award even to this day. :(</p>

I’m wondering if I overestimated my family assets, so they gave me little aid. Is there anything in your CSS profile, that you suspect might have led to this ?

<p>Hey @thinktry even I don’t think that they are going to increase $15k for one person. Even I have started to think that may be I have written down something wrong. I think I calculated the investments section wrong. Oh, I don’t know. At least I have a couple of other options. If not Mount Holyoke, where do you plan on going?</p>
