I know we would all be excited in the end… Hopefully :D

You are going to get into one of them, and you will be happy. Me either! So close, yet so far. Tears hair out one by one

I completed the college board Online CSS profile and submitted it at the beginning of this month before MHC’s financial aid deadline. But everytime I check my status online it keeps showing “not received” are they going to receive it anytime soon? because its already past the deadline. I’m just worried. X_X

Ellaar, call MHC. Since you are past the deadline, I’d check with the FA office.

Yeah, never harms to check. However, if it was submitted electronically before the deadline, you should be fine. The evidence is all there. It just might be something that MHC has to rectify. Either way, you won’t be penalized.

I just sent them an email to make them aware. Thanks a lot for your help. :)

I’m sure you girls will be happy in the end. You are all “work hard and dream big” type.

Back when I was waiting for my results, I pushed myself to do something else rather than keep checking portals and e-mail boxes. The whole college application thing was so stressed to me, but I managed to divert my attention to my interests and keep a positive attitude.
You girls have to wait a little bit longer, but don’t worry. Keep living your amazing lives and being yourselves. In late March, you will all be prepared to see your results. Best luck to you!

I think I am really lucky. I always love the idea of going abroad to study but I’d never considered receiving my bachelor’s degree in America. My parents value education very much and they always talked to me about going to America to study. In my junior year, I got serious about this whole thing and started to prepare for it. My parents aren’t rich but they planned this college thing very early. They told me they started to save for my college tuition two years before I started my high school. They are very wise. I’m going to make the most of my college life and one day, I will pay them back.

@foodie SAT optional is totally okay.

@Shirleyxxy, I am sure your gonna make your parents proud :)

@Ellaar
Did you send your transcripts by postal mail? If yes, have they been processed yet? I was just curious coz mine haven’t.

@foodie
My counsellor uploaded my transcript on common app. But I still sent a hard copy through postal mail. I really don’t know about the whole evaluation thing, but I know that as long as they have it before the deadline, its okay. I’ll just leave the evaluation to them, but for now I don’t bother about it.

@shirleyxxy
You’ll definitely make your parents proud.

Oh ohkay, thank you Ellaar :)

You wouldn’t believe it. I actually completed the online 2013-2014 profile, instead of the 2014-2015. . But they still told me to send the present one as soon as possible. I hope it would still be okay because of the deadline :(

It’s ok @Ellaar. You communicated with MHC about it, so it should be ok. Don’t worry. :)

They should really take the 2013-14 FinAid applications down now, so that people don’t get confused!

Ellaar, If you told MHC about it, you should be fine. The FinAid app really doesn’t change year to year so you would have put in the same info. Admissions will understand, it’s a human mistake. We all do it!

Thanks a lot guys. I will just wait and see.

Hey ladies, hope you’re all doing alright with your applications and not stressing too much about your MoHo decision! (Btw, I’m not sure about this new CC layout… yikes.)

I think I need a little time to fully get used to this new CC. Now the biggest problem for me is the CC app for my phone is down. I usually checked CC on my phone, but now I can’t see what people are talking about when I’m bored. Upset.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the CC app doesn’t work on my phone either. Kinda sucks.

Hi, everyone! Just found this thread and you girls seem so amazing! Have you all visited MHC?

Nope. MHC is too far for me. I did take a virtual tour online and love the college so much!
