Good luck, everyone! I’m so nervous for all of you.

Thanks parentnj~!

Did you get your email today?

Thanks. My daughter heard yesterday through email. It looks like the decisions are coming in a little each day. I wish you luck!

I am dying here. I wish that they would just release them all.

This is getting kind of annoying. I wish they had just given us a date. I got an email from vassar today telling me specifically what date and time to check my decision.

dont check the email =,=
the decision is in the portal !!!

Wow…here we go…my daughter would have to be at a movie version of the “Frankenstein” play from London. Oh well…

Post away ladies!

I got wait listed :(

Thread hug!

We can make it though this afternoon.

Oh geez christinajay, I’m reall sorry…

But they haven’t rejected you at least. They think you’re too good to let go of, just yet. I would write them a letter or reccomendations from teachers or send them a portfolio, to show them how much you love MoHo. Waitinglists usually don’t have numbered applicants so its fair game for you!

(special hug)

I’m dreading my own inbox now…ah well…

Thanks, Meanderer
I think I’m going to try to figure out what was lacking in my application and send them additional information. Which one should I do out of these options? A letter of recommendation or SAT subject tests?

My daughter just got her acceptance from Mount Holyoke tonight - a little after 7 pm eastern time. She went online to get her admission decision on her application summary page. We are so excited here!

Waitlisted. D: I was afraid of that.

Congratulations! It is our great pleasure to offer you admission to
Mount Holyoke College for entrance in January 2012. You are among a
select group of talented students whom we invite to take advantage of
mid-year entrance.

We understand that you didn’t apply for mid-year entrance and imagine
that you may be surprised by this letter; however, the seasonal ebb
and flow on campus (the second semester is always a popular time for
students to study abroad) allows us the opportunity to enroll 60 or so
women each year for the spring semester as first-year students. We’d
be delighted to have you among them! The spring class is just as
diverse and talented—and as full of potential—as the class. We know that members of previous spring classes have viewed
this as an enticing opportunity to spend the fall semester exploring a
new interest, engaging more deeply in an established one, or pursuing
academic course work elsewhere.

What is this mean?
Can anyone explain for me, please?
Why I can not enter for fall entrance?

As you have inspired us, I believe you will be inspired by the

I GOT INTO MOUNT HOLYOKE!!! They didn’t send me an email to check my ISIS status but I did anyway haha =P AND I GOT IN!!! Mount Holyoke is one of my FAVORITE schools!!!

@christinajay,

It depends on you. I would second your thoughts of reveiwing your appliacation for potential weaknesses. Letters of reccomendation could help, though I think a personal letter from YOU about all the specific reasons as to MoHo being right for you would carry more weight to start off with.

I would also talk to your guidence counciler for ideas. The battle has only just begun, so stay strong waitlistees!

It means that you go! Just…not in the spring. But hey, it’s one semester.
