Hello!! Do y’all know if transfers get an application portal? I just submitted my Common App application today and was wondering about that. iirc for my current school, I received an email inviting me to create my portal account a couple days after submitting the Common App application, so maybe it’s similar for Mount Holyoke!

I just submitted my application to Mount Holyoke for fall transfer. Excited but also nervous.

You should. If you don’t within 2 weeks of your application submission I’d contact the admissions office. Good luck!

I just saw that Mount Holyoke got a record number of first year applicants, 3,946. Does anyone know if this will impact the number of transfer students they’ll accept?

oh goodness i hope not, but who knows

Anyone applied to the Frances Perkins program?

Is Mount Holyoke anyone else’s first choice?

Yes!

I just noticed my application checklist disappeared from my portal. Hopefully they will release decisions early this week! I’m getting impatient.

Apologies for the delay; thank you!! I was just impatient and it showed up the day after haha!

OMG! Mine did too!! The website said mid-April but last year’s transfer decisions were released in late March so !!!

I got accepted! I’m so excited.

Me too!!

(For reference for future folks reading this: transfer decisions were released on 3/29 at 1:16 PST)

Just got accepted!! If anyone wants to make a group chat or something send me a message and we’ll figure it out!

Fantastic! Anyone mind sharing any of their application information?

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! I’ve never been more excited about anything!

Just started setting up a Discord server for transfers! DM me for the invite link! (and let me know if you’d like to help moderate)

sure!! i wrote my essay about prison reform which I think was probably the most important part of my app. i had a 3.89 at my state school and was in college dems, but I didn’t have any other activities at my old college, to be honest. i had some internships and letters of rec from my favorite professors. i would definitely recommend doing an interview!! i hope this helps! <3
