Hi, first time user and freshman currently enrolled into Mt. Sac as a Computer Science major that's hoping to transfer. I saw on the statistics that Mt. Sac has an unbelievably low transfer rate. I was wondering if I should stay at Mt. Sac for my time or just switch Community colleges. And if I was in CC and how would I declare my minor/2nd major? And chances of a Mt. Sac transferring to UC Riverside or UC Los Angeles.

What you need to find out is how that number was calculated.

Is it a% of all students who have ever enrolled there? A % of students who at the time of their first enrollment indicated that they planned to transfer? Or is it a % of the students who completed the specific UC transfer requirements and then actually went ahead and applied for transfer?

I’ll ask the transfer advisor tonight, but I recall that it was the number of people that did attend Mt. Sac
