^ I hope time flies.

Cottonwood, I’ll be there with you in June. It’ll be interesting to see the return through the gate now that they have restructured graduation.

…they opened up the east side door, very short line, but that changed pretty quickly…seemed like many more people were lined up on the west side.

It’s now on youtube. Some of you may find yourselves in the video:

<a href=“Ceremony.HullGate - YouTube”>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAOD-EM-xqA&feature=player_embedded

The video was cute. Don’t think all the pictures are new though. I saw my D (AB, 2008) in it.

Take a close look too at Zimmer. For most undergrads and parents, that’s the last time you’ll see him (except maybe by accident?) until commencement/convocation four years from now. He has not in the past gone out of his way to show up, much less mix, at lowly undergrad functions. Surprised he showed up for this.

Thank you, J’adoube!

Regarding getting a seat inside Rockefeller Chapel, we got a good seat by getting in line at the west door about an hour before the ceremony. That line was much shorter than the one at the front door.

I will have to watch the video as from our seats in the balcony we could see nothing but the empty podium they didn’t use.

We were there an hour early at the same door as PayFor, but by the luck of our position and the confusion we went to the balcony which wasn’t the best choice in hind sight. My complaint is that they didn’t use order to put people into benches and fill them, it was a free-for-all when we entered, and people did not fill the benches, there were seat-savers, etc. I think they could have done a better job of filling the chapel with the crowds.
